This hearty chili recipe is simply expanded upon a family favorite... Hot enough to clear your sinuses, it won't be too hot to handle as long as you have the shredded cheese and cinnamon rolls... Oh those cinnamon rolls, an essential part of eating chili! The longer you stew this chili in the crock pot, the better it will be...

enough for 4 hungry people

1 lb. ground turkey or ground buffalo or a combination of the two
1 chopped onion
1 10 3/4 ounce can tomato puree
1 15 1/2 can kidney beans
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
4 tablespoons chili powder
1 normal tomato sliced and diced
1 red pepper
1 jalapeno pepper
1 cup instant brown rice
1 bottle ODell's 90 Schilling Amber Ale (can substitue with
NewCastle Brown Ale or Guinness or red wine or whatever liquid you have have around if you can't find 90 Shilling, use it in place of water to get the right consistency)

Methods/steps

Brown 1 pound ground buffalo or ground turkey or a mix of the two and 1 chopped
onion. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer in crock pot 8-12
hours. Serve with shredded cheddar cheese and cinnamon rolls.
