Lemon Bars/Pineapple Toppiing

Description Lemon bar with a pineapple topping.  But you can also just use frosting instead of the pineapple.

For the cake:

1 box lemon cake mix

3 eggs

1 can lemon pie filling

 

For the topping:

2 eggs

2 tablespoons flour

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter

8 ounce can crushed pineapple, with juice

Methods/steps

1. For the cake: Beat eggs, add pie filling and cake mix. (I beat in the cake mix and pie filling as per the directions on the cake mix box.)

2. Put in a greased 10X15 inch pan.

3. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.

4. For the frosting: Mix all ingredients and cook until thick.

5. Cool slightly, and spread on bars.
