  • Bars:
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup crisco
  • 1 Tablesppon water
  • 1/4 teasppon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Frosting:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips
Methods/steps
  1. Bars:
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Cream oil, melted butter, eggs and sugar, add liquid and dry ingredients alternately.
  4. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan (11X14X2).
  5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Filling:
  7. In a big mixer bowl, mix together all ingredients, except powdered sugar, and beat for 5 minutes or until fluffy.
  8. Add 1 cup puwdered sugar - beat well and spread on bars.
  9. Refridgerate until frosting is ready. 
  10. Frosting:
  11. Heat sugar, milk and butter in pan. Bring to a boil and boil ONE minute.
  12. Remove from heat and add 1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and beat well with wooden spoon.
  13. Cool slightly and slowly pour by spoonfuls on cooled cake. (Need to work quickly, cause it thickens quite fast.)
  14. Refridgerate. Cut into bars when cool.
