Chocolate Buttermilk Cake

A very easy moist cake.

2 cups flour

2 cups white sugar

1/2 cup cocoa

1 cup oil

1 cup buttermilk

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup boiling water

Methods/steps

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt. Add oil, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla and mix well. Carefully add boiling water and mix until well incorporated. Do not overbeat. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 pan for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees.
