Description

This is the recipe that was used at Mom's Birthday party.

3-3 oz. pkg. Jello, any flavor for color;

4 cups sugar;

16 oz. real lemon juice;

9 cups boiling water;

2-46 oz. pineapple juice;

2-2 quart bottles of 7-up

Methods/steps

Dissolve Jell-O and sugar with boiling water.  Cool...but not too long because the Jell-O will gel.  Add lemon juice and pineapple juice.  Use 2 ice cream buckets.  Divide evenly between both buckets.  Freeze.  Set out a few hours before serving.  Use spoon to make it slushy.  Add one bottle of 7-up to each bucket in a punch bowl.

Additional Tips

I divided the cooled mixture between the 2 buckets and then added 1 can of pineapple juice to each bucket and 8 oz. of lemon juice to each bucket.   It's hard to find something big enough to mix first and then divide.
