3 pounds or about 9 cups firm baking apples

1 cup apple juice

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Methods/steps

1. Peel apples and slice 1/4 inch think.

2. Place the apples in a 4 quart slow cooker.

3. Add apple juice and sinnamon to taste, and toss to coat well.

4. Cover and cook until the apples are very tender and almost translucent, 2 to 2 1/2 hours on high or 4 to 4 1/2 hours on low.

5. Transfer to a bowl and let cool slightly.

6. Cover and refridgerate until chilled or can be frozen.

7. Will keep in the refridgerator for up to 4 days.
