  • 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 package (7 1/4 ounce) macaroni & cheese dinner
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounce) stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese
Methods/steps
  1. Brown meat in a large skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Return to skillet.
  2. Stir in macaroni, cheese sauce mix, tomatoes, peas and milk.
  3. Bring to a boil; cover.
  4. Simmer on medium-low heat 12 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. Top with mozzarella.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes or until mozzarella is melted.
