  • 8 cups tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 3 large green peppers, chopped
  • 2 large onion, chopped
  • 6 jalapeno peppers, (take seeds out of 3)
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teapsoon garlic powder
  • 2 small (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
Methods/steps
  1. Stir together and cook, uncovered for 2 to 3 hours until consistency you desire.
  2. Place some in refridgerator and freeze the rest in half pint jars.
Additional Tips
We like chunks in our salsa, so I chop them in bigger chunks. Chop as you desire.
