Crazy Crunch

  • 12 cups of light popped popcorn
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds (Gurley\\\'s brand)
  • 1 1/2 cups wide unsweetened coconut (Gurley\\\'s brand)
  • Syrup:
  • 1 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup real butter
  • 1/2 cup Karo light corn syrup
  1. Mix together and bring to a boil,stirring constantly then to a hard boil for 1 minute.
  2. Remove fron heat, add vanilla.
  3. In a large bowl combine popcorn, pecans, slivered almonds, and unsweetened coconut; add syrup mixture and stir very well.
  4. Once well coated, spread onto waxed paper to dry.
  5. Once dry, break up into pieces and ENJOY!
