Grasshopper Pie

Description

This is the pie that I brought to the Gayer Christmas Party.

  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 3/4 cups whipped topping, divided
  • 1 package Andes candies, chopped, divided (I used the Andes chips)
  • 9\" chocolate crumb crust
  • 1/4 tsp. mint extract (I didn\'t use...was minty enough)
  • 2 drops green food coloring
Methods/steps
  1. In a small bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for two minutes. Let stand for two minutes or until soft-set. Fold in 3/4 cup whipped topping and 3/4 cup candies. Spoon into crust. Sprinkle with remaining candies. Cover and refrigerate four hours or until set. In a separate bowl, combine extract, remaining whipped topping and food coloring. Add a dollop to each slice of pie before serving. (I just spread it on top of the pie).
Additional Tips

Very rich....cut into small pieces!
