Description

Can be used on pancakes instead of syrup...40-60 calories verses 240 calories.

4 - 1/2 cup servings
  • 2 cups blueberries, strawberries or other fruit (fresh or frozen without sugar)
  • 2 teaspoons undiluted apple juice concentrate (or sugar substitute,if desired)
Methods/steps
  1. Combine 1/2 cup of the fruit and 2 teaspoons apple juice concentrate in a blender; process to a smooth sauce.
  2. Pour over remaining sliced fruit.
  3. MAkes four 1/2 cup servings.
  4. Serve on pancakes, waffles, angel food cake, ice cream etc.
Additional Tips

1/2 cup = 40-60- calories (Average serving of maple syrup:1/4 cup=240 calories)
