  • 1/2 cup white flour
  • 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 Tablespoons yellow cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seed
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fat-free milk
  • 1/4 cup plain fat-free yoguet
  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • 1 egg
Methods/steps
  1. Combine first 8 ingredients; stir well.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients; stir well.
  3. Add to flour mixture, stirring until smooth.
  4. Spoon about 1/4 cup batter onto a hot nonstick griddle.
  5. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked.
  6. Serve with pure maple syrup and low fat granola, if desired.
