  • 1    12 ounce can evaporated milk
  • 2 green (lime) jello (3 ounce size)
  • 2 orange jello (3 ounce size)
  • 3 cherry jello (3 ounce size)
  • water
Methods/steps
  1. Make jello in layers.   First layer - Boil 3/4 cup water.  Stir in one cherry jello until dissolved.  Add 1/2 cup cold water.  Pour in 9 X 13 pan and refridgerate.  Let first layer gel, but not hard.  Mix next layer.  Can mix several at one time, because it gels quite soon after one is gelled (about  1/2 hour in between.)
  2. Second layer - 1/2 cup boiling water..  Stir in one orange jello until dissolved.  Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.
  3. Third layer - 3/4 cup boiling water.  Stir in one lime jello until dissolved.  Add 1/2 cup cold water.
  4. Fourth layer - 1/2 cup boiling water.  Stir in cherry jello until dissolved.  Add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.
  5. Fifth layer -  3/4 cup boiling water.  Stir in orange jello until dissolved.  Add 1/2 cup cold water.
  6. Sixth layer - 1/2 cup boiling water.   Stir in lime jello until dissolved.  Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.
  7. Seventh layer - 3/4 cup boiling water.  Stir in cherry jello until dissolved.  Add 1/2 cup cold water.
Additional Tips
It's fun to vary flavors as you like.  Christmas can be lime, orange, lemon and cherry. Or you can use black cherry, cherry, lime, lemon, orange, orange-pineapple and strawberry. Explore! Don't put the lid on the pan in the fridge until you do the last layer. It will cool faster and you won't get any moisture drips.
