Slow cooker baby back ribs

  • 3 pounds baby back ribs, trimmed
  • Salt & ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce
Methods/steps
  1. Season ribs with salt & pepper.
  2. Pour water in slow cooker.
  3. Layer the ribs into the slow cooker.
  4. Top the ribs with onion and garlic.
  5. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  7. Transfer ribs to a baking sheet.
  8. Discard onion and garlic.
  9. Coat ribs with barbeque sauce.
  10. Bake in preheated oven until the sauce caramelize and sticks to the meat, 10 to 15 minutes.
