Fried Cabbage

Description Very easy!  Good as a light supper or a side dish!

  • butter
  • cabbage
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Methods/steps
  1. Put a dab of butter in the skillet.  I used a couple of tablespoons.  Just depends how much cabbage you're going to use.
  2. Melt the butter.  Add chopped up cabbage, enough to feed the family.  Cover and cook until it starts to wilt.  Then add chopped onion.
  3. Cover and cook a little longer.  Uncover, season with salt and pepper, and cook a little longer to slightly brown the cabbage.  Enjoy!
  4. Optional, may add some chopped ham to make it a meal.
